There aren’t enough good things I can say! Let me start off by saying I came in for a color correction—extremely last minute as I was going away on vacation the same week I needed my hair corrected. I went to a different salon and they botched my highlights completely—stereotypical chunky skunk stripes—awful. I was horrified and worried there was no going back. Taylor fit me in last minute and, three and a half hours later, my hair was good as new and she corrected it completely. They even let me come in after my trip and get highlights around my face—for free!—because the first appointment took so long to remedy my botched hair. My hair has never looked better! Taylor is the sweetest; super professional and talented for her age, and patient and understanding. Sydney’s is a salon full of capable women with gorgeous hair and I would leave ten stars if I could!! Thank you to Taylor and Laurie and everyone who saved my hair!!

The experience started out well. Rita had a pretty good grasp on how to cut fine hair. The third time she forgot and left me with same length all the way around which she herself said would never work with fine hair. I could do nothing with it so I called to see if she could fix it. She didn't return my call and after 3 times she had another stylist talk to me. She was extremely rude and condescending. Told me I could have my money back but that was it. No adjustment would be made because they were all too busy. I am handy capped and this same woman watched me struggle with the door coming in and going out as she sat behind the desk. It was very upsetting.

Extremely sloppy application with no attention to detail nor did the root color match anything that I requested. The roots are VERY dark which is not what I asked for and was very clear on the color requested. Did highlights that don't even show (NO you don't need to process in heat) weird vibe, didn't ask if I wanted anything like water. Not at all happy with the results from someone who has 17 years experience. Do not recommend this salon at all. Charged me 110 for a root job that was horrible. The wash was very rough and atmosphere not friendly. Thumbs down

Best salon experience ever!nI'm currently traveling and called on a whim with a complicated, time consuming hair request... Taylor happily accepted the challenge with availability RIGHT THAT MINUTE. I was very comfortable and felt like I was hanging out with an old friend the entirety of the appointment. I told her what I thought i wanted done when i walked in, but was open to suggestions to reach the look i was going for. Taylor knew her stuff, we discussed options, and she kept me informed with every step as the appointment developed (in case I wanted to change or add something).nI received a cut, highlights, and balayage that that looked natural and flowed beautifully. Taylor Mcguirt's work was more than worthy of the affordable price.nExtremely pleased!!!nnThe owner is friendly, professional, and observant without being overbearing. She was very present during the entirety of my appointment and it was apparent she wanted to make sure I had a good experience even though I did not work directly with her.nThere is a high standard here!! I would certainly go here again and even use other services.
