Some interesting history. And very cool head stones and memorials

A little piece of unknown history. I had never heard of this park until my sister suggested we go there for a little day trip. It's off the beaten path but worth the visit if you are a history buff. There is a nice museum and the gentleman working the day we visited was very informative and eager to share his knowledge.

The intense beauty of this place stands in stark contrast to the grotesque tragedy that took place here.

Very sad but true part of history.nDifficult to find the museum open as it is volunteer run but in the two rooms, there is a lot to see. Church and Cooper's Cabin have been rebuilt to help tell the story.nIf museum isn't open, this can be a very brief visit. If museum is open, visit can still be comfortable within an hour time frame.

This cemetery has a great history lesson about the Gnadenhutten Indians. The museum was not open on this chilly leap year day. I plan on coming back. I'm out geocaching with friends.
