Very kind and informative staff. Very nice for a city of 35,000.

I went today October 15 2020. I toured it there a kid art on the basement floor. There was in the first floor a old car. A dragon a new york Yankees jersey. There was a old camera from 1907. There was ansel Adams photos. A circus things. There was a white room with different clothing. There was on the 2nd floor Paul Brown things. I spoke to a worker named Anna about the museum on the phone polite over the phone. I talked to her after I toured she was nice. But after I talked to her she kept looking at her worker next to her after I would talk to her. It was at times awkward. After she would do that when I talk to her felt odd. I'm a photographer I like to go to places to take photos. I hope a manager try to get a hold of me about the awkward things Anna did. It made me feel not right.

Everyone at the museum was extremely friendly and hospitable. They were quick to put me at ease and try to make me feel welcome as a a non-native, new to Massillon. The place is lovingly curated and tended-to, and there's considerable ambition in the works as to expansion of its physical space to accommodate more of its collections. I highly recommend it to anyone with an interest in history.
