Radcliff Family Cemetery, aka Radcliffe Cemetery, is found northeast of New Baltimore. From the intersection of River Road and Blue Rock Road, it can be located about 800’ north on Blue Rock Road. To access the Cemetery, you will need to drive into the baseball fields from Blue Rock Road. Park and walk up a slight hill toward home plate. Almost directly from home plate to the grove of trees between the baseball field and Blue Rock Road you will find Radcliff Cemetery. When the leaves are gone, the Cemetery is indeed easier to locate. They close the baseball field driveway and lock it so be careful not to find yourself locked in.nnLocated in Crosby Township in Hamilton County, Ohio I believe this Cemetery is maintained by family members or local neighbors. The headstones are new (late 1990s) for burials identified in 1848. The area is not infused with honeysuckle but has some grasses and ivy. I suspect that the small area is weed-whipped a couple times a year. The surrounding area of the Cemetery is identified with metal fencing.nnOne headstone identifies:nJAMES RADCLIFFEnA NATIVE OFnYORKSHIRE ENGLANDn1786-1864nnAlthough only 6 records identify the burials here, I suspect that there are a greater number of family members that are unfortunately lost in the records. Radcliff Cemetery is undoubtably an historical cemetery and requires respect and deference.
