Cook's Crossing

First and for most DO NOT!! Rent from this place what so ever! This place is not worth the $900-1,400 a month that they are trying to charge. They don't have a club house, no swimming pool no nothing.nnOnly reason I'm giving this place a TWO star is because the location of this apartment complex is amazing, fast food, groceries, and high way accessnnThis is also a warning IF for some reason you do not heed my warning about this place, try and heed this warning, DO NOT LET THEM RENT YOU UNIT 1040 #1 OR 1040 # 9. Extremely rude neighbors in Unit #5nnOffice was almost always closed, doors say open at 9AM but there has been multiple times where I literally sat outside till 12pm and still not a sign of management. It wasn't just once it was 10+ times that had happened.nnHad called multiple times as well and left messages and never got phone calls back till my lease was almost done then they finally started calling and leaving messages back.nnWent almost three months with out A/C during blazing summer and they only gave me $100 off ONE month, I'm sorry what? It was literally over 100 degrees inside the apartment with all the windows and doors opened.nnPLEASE! PLEASE! DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE WHAT SO EVER! I've spent two years in this terrible ran apartment complex and I don't want anyone else to suffer.

Nice little apartments close to everything. Also remodeled before new tenants move in and very nice.

I have lived here for a year with my husband and I have tried calling and leaving messages to the manager, she is non professional same with corporate or the management in general, over priced for complexes with no pool or workout place, very unprofessional and does not care enough to about the residents to deny help with rent, or send paper work to places that need it to help us financially with our child and ect. I’ve told corporate multiple times how there apartment manager won’t answer, gets attitude and doesn’t answer her door or phone, will set there and look at you while you’re knocking on the door, she did that to me, looked at me and ignored me like I wasn’t there trying to get her attention And corporate ignored it and said if she won’t answer then they can’t help me and I asked them to have the number of the person who is ahead of corporate then and he refused to help me and basically said you’re out of luck and were not helping you. And they don’t do anything at all to stop it, they said multiple things to her as of what they say but won’t try to make there community better by enforcing rules with the management or replacing the manager, they won’t make changes, but they don’t think of it as “what if this happened to my family” it’s not them so they don’t care. they do not care at all they just care about the money and that’s it, I do not recommend to live here you will regret it right away everyone I’ve talked to and know had something bad to say about the management and overpricing, all though the apartments are very nice themselves there are a lot of the apartments are very outdated and some were just worked on. It will put you deep in the money hole and not worth it, there is multiple apartments in Milford that actually take there personal time to help you and make sure your needs are met and that are nice and cheaper, take you seriously and or a 100$ cheaper with good and acceptable management and a pool and workout area involved. they deleted my last review to cover Thereselves. I’m just trying to warn families to help out so this doesn’t happen to you, it’s just awful and nothing but issues since we have moved in. They wouldn’t answer the phone or door so I had lost food stamps and wic because the complex wouldn’t provide what I needed. And they turned down rent money help from a church that was going to help us, The maintenance guy walked in my house with no warning or knowing he was coming that day they told me he was coming another day and he walked in on me undressed in my apartment and I was unaware he was coming and then he came back later and the just walked into the bathroom while I was peeing, reported it and they did nothing was not fired or talked to, he came to fix my fridge and moved it and something fell off of my fridge when he moved it and it broke the stove top and cooks crossing made me pay for it!!! Didn’t help said they can’t do anything, my fridge was messed up and there was a freon leak going on with my fridge and I had to replace all the grocery’s and had to Stay with my mom because the maintenance guy took two weeks to get here and fix it and that is dangerous for my 8 month old and 2 year old. I had never been so disappointed and cooks crossing will reply to the reviews but will not make changes, this place is horrible please save yourself!!!!

Maintenance man Richard is absolutely amazing, he came out and replaced entire door and frame all within one day. Our sliding door was broken and beyond repair. Our apartment is now worth the cost and the new sliding door is absolutely beautiful.

I Have been living in Cooks Crossing for 3 years. For the last 6 months they have left me in a flooding, moldy apartment. I first complained April 30th and was ignored by the apartment manager due to them not having a maintenance man. In July they got a maintenance man who came over and identified all of the mold growing under my carpet. The carpet was takin out in July and the flooding was never addressed. So now its October 1st they come and tear out my drywall in my living room and remove moving insulation. Now it's November 3rd I have a flooding apartment, no carpet, no drywall or insulation with live electrical wires exposed in my living room with no help from the staff of Cooks Crossing or the Zinger Group that owns Cooks Crossing. I also have an 8 year old child that lives with me. If you want to pay over 900 a month to be ignored and treated like you are the problem then this is the place for you.
