Fort Edward Station

This Amtrak Station in Fort Edward New York is always the historic site. Also a great hangout.

Had to wait over an hour for a delayed train. The friendly staff at the cafe/platform were more than accommodating and very personable. I enjoyed the conversation and the food was delicious and homemade! Try the ham and cauliflower soup, a cup of it equals a meal. Great prices and staff. If I'm ever I'm the area again I will stop by even if not on the train!

Small, old train station. People are very friendly and willing to help you. Wish they had a pay phone outside because cell phone service doesn't really work there.

Train was on time. There's no real Depot, they were recycling cans inside. Amtrak crew we're very friendly and helpful.

It's a Fairly safe journey to New York City.
