We stayed in the Hilltop cabin for a one night road trip pit stop. We were very grateful that they let our dog stay also, he loved running around the beautiful setting. The cabin itself is rustic but very cozy. The bed was very comfortable and there were lights and heat/ac if you ran the generator, which we did only when we got in to cool the place down, by sunset there was no need. We enjoyed a fire in the fire pit and sitting on the rocking chairs on the porch overlooking a stunning view of rolling hillsides, woods, a pond, and a fantastic sunset/stars with a glass of wine. The shower is outdoor and cold water only, which was actually pretty fun. The outhouse is for sure an outhouse, it is what it is so be prepared! Overall we had a wonderful time and would definitely come back!
