Huguitos restaurant is located on a strip of small businesses on the south side of route 202 near to the palisades parkway exit 13 (and entrance). If you're driving down from Canada, your choices are, either go straight at the end of the ramp and eat at the Greek dinner (which is good), or turn right onto 202 and in a few hundred yards turn left into the second strip mall for Huguitos, next to the coin laundry. Okay, not exactly high class area, but hey, you just drove for ten hours for that New York experience so you might as well ease into it starting here. My advise is, don't order from the menu, instead ask what they have, what they just prepared. If your nerves are shattered walk to the east end of the strip mall and buy something from the liquor store. Additional advice, count your change from the liquor store! Hey! I told you, this is your New York experience! You might as well prepare yourself in small doses prior to entry. Okay, back to the restaurant. They are decent and honest. Open your vino and enjoy their well made authentic meal. Very reasonable prices. You may even want to stop off again on your trip back north!

This is a great establishment, run by hardworking people. I ordered a half chicken with salad. They accept cash and credit card payments. You won't be disappointed and you'll be happy to support a great local business!
