We have been to the New York State Fair many times and have always enjoyed it (even when it poured rain). Live entertainment, farm animals, a circus, rides galore, cheap food and low admission prices. If you purchase a ticket to an event at the Grandstand you get into the fair for free. Fun for everyone!
The building is clean, staff is freindly, helpful. However bring chair cushion(s) if you want to sit while waiting unless you want grid marks on your bottom.
