What a hidden GEM! This was probably the most exciting thing I have done in a year! (Thanks COVID). This is an amazing tour of what the original sound stage/sets would have been. (So much attention to detail.)And a gallery up front of original toys/props and costumes.nnDrew was my your guide, and he was a great navigator through each of the sets. The story behind why the Star Trek set is in Ticonderoga NY is amazing as well. Suspend your disbelief and travel back in time to 1960s television. Great for Trekkies, great for boomers/gen x, great for people who wonder about 1960 TV production, props and set dressing... I just can't gush enough. Unexpected and fun.
Great visit! Brought my hubby here as a surprise birthday gift. He loved it! Said it was awesome. Drew was our tour guide and he did an amazing job. Very enthusiastic and full of cool stories. Well worth the trip!
Can't wait to go here! Tempting to go in full Klingon battle dress!!!! Hopefully, this summer
Outstanding! Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and more than willing to answer any questions. The lobby display case is well worth the visit alone. Fortunately, we live close by so we will be back again and again, and highly recommend this tour as a must!
This place ROCKS! I'm so glad I got Myley as my tour guide. When I first got there, I was met with a guy and two females. The chubby lady initially gave me the impression of not to friendly, but smoothed out later. I was given Myley who was very sweet throughout. She knew her star trek trivia well, was patient and friendly throughout the tour. The museum itself was awesome. I felt like I was inside the U.S.S. Enterprise as one of the crew members. ud83dude01 I love the layout of the bridge, the engine room and the transport room and elevator. The owner did a great job and they even have sound effects from the star trek original series. Although it was over a 2 hour drive to get here, it was all worth it. The only downer is they have no rest rooms for the people, so I had to go to a nearby gas station and come back quick. But regardless this place was awesome and Myley was a great tour guide who enhanced the experience. I hope they expand and do a star trek voyager layout as well in the future. Would definitely come back here.
