Cranford

We have lived here for 35 years. Raised four kids. This is a pretty little Suburban town. With a nice downtown area full of nice restaurants ice cream stands little shops. The school system is very good. And has great academics, Sports programs, Visual and Performing Arts departments. As mentioned in other reviews there are train and bus lines that take you into Newark and New York City. There is also Union County College, the lovely nomahegan park. And several other parks and playgrounds.

Good train station that has easy access to NYC and other major transit ports here in the NYC/NJ Metropolitan area. I think the actual station could use a makeover but it gets you where you need to go! No indoor/heated rooms on the platforms.

The train station has lots of platform space, and it has a waiting room on the platform for you to wait for the train to approapproach. There is also lots of shade so you don't get burned by the sun or wet from the rain.

A raised platform station that is easily accessible. Elevators are available and there is a bathroom available only when the ticket office is open.
