Rockingham Historic Site

Washington slept here. Closed for covid, but look interesting.

Beautiful in the fall season. Guided tours are currently on hold due to covid-19, but still worth taking a quick stroll if you're in the area.

Buildings closed when we were there, but still impressed with the americana.

We came here for a walk along the canal without knowing the site. A nice lady working here saw us and told us about the site. She then kindly called to arrange a quick tour for us outside the regular time slots. Brendan, our guide, was very welcoming and knowledgeable. He showed us around the house and gave detailed explanations probably during his break. The site itself is well arranged and maintained with rich history.
