Wharton Borough Police Department

On Jan 13th we had an incident with our house lock. we could not figure out whether the lock was tampered or got jammed. we tried to open the door for an hour but unable to do so. We decided to call Wharton Police . Officers Frank Katsigiannis & Briana Gaspich came in such a cold weather and helped us out to open our house door. I was assaulted in the Shop Rite parking lot. The assault required 12 stitches in 2 right hand fingers. Blood flowing all over, blood pressure rising! The assailant was apprehended, no arrest!!! WTH????
