Ocean Township Police Department

Sadly the cops in ocean, and our immediate area are getting way too out of hand. These officers are supposed to be law abiding themselves and uphold it for others. Instead they are not using blinkers at all when making turns, are sitting at the beach or in parking lots where nothing goes on, are speeding like crazy on 35, and ive seen 2 officers in the past month making illegal u turns. I feel and im sure many others feel as though they think they are above the law. Key word is think; and karma comes for those who talk the talk but dont walk it. Even in long branch a few years back, the lbpd got caught with multiple officers sleeping on the job behind the fire station. Ocean cops probably do the same, but havent gotten caught yet, although they do like to hide in back of wanamassa fire house.

Love this Police Department!! The Chief of Police is a great leader and a member of the US Military for 20+ years serving our country. They have a proactive social media presence and keep the community current accidents, weather and events run by Lt. Tim Torchia. The members of this Police Department have always shown dedication, loyalty, honor to their community and to each other. Their dedication was shown in their of support of Sgt John Green to the very end. And most recently Sgt Pat Martin's amazing job running Clancy's Crew for Michael Clancy. I am proud to call these Officers friends

Ethan is right. This department is the worst I've ever seen. Especially John Green and his sidekick with the terrible haircut. I would be very surprised if these officers knew how to stop crime. I only see them trying to avoid responsibility by scurrying away to hide in their offices. The real cops can't do their jobs because they are oppressed by the incompetent status quo. I've only met sexist, lying, ignorant pigs in costumes. They can't even stand up for what's right, so I doubt they're capable of the more sophisticated task of catching criminals. That is asking too much of the Ocean ilk. They are too busy looking for unsanctioned business signs to write up. So happy this is not my police force now. Can't wait for these pigs to go down.

I had to call them at 3:30am for a situation and they responded right away and solved my problem in a blink of an eye. Thank you and thank God for the police officers.
