North Bergen Police Department

When I called them CRYING out for help because of my abusive ex boyfriend, they did nothing other than advising me on what to do against him legal wise. Because of those two officers that failed me at the scene, everything went the opposite way. Beware. Nothing like Union City police officers who truly take their job serious and do not tolerate abuse.

I cant thank you enough for your amazing help help to find My dog Roky. You were amazing at every moment. You help was amazing at any moment you called with information and last call was the key you did amazing job. A big salut. If I could give 100 stars I would. God bless you all.

Sad these cops don't know the law. I was robbed by Walmart employee for not showing a receipt, the cop that gets there and identifies himself as a supervisor tells me walmart has a right to look at my receipt and rummage through my property. Please train your officers on the law vs what most people just tolerate.

Website is dated. My main complaint would be the carwash on River Road, North Bergen, next to Starbucks. Someone is going to get killed there. The department has been called multiple times regarding this matter and they do nothing. The cars waiting to be washed take the road obstructing traffic, blocking the entire right lane. The other problem is the abuse with handicapped spots, specially Target on 1&9. A van with NY plates parked there last week, I called HQ and i was told an officer would come and they never did. The abuse of the handicapped spots is out of control. You dont get away with this in other towns. I later saw a patrol car stopping for food and she had no time to come and investigate. The person shown is not disabled, openly admitting is not her handicapped ID card.

In this time of need our police force is been there for all of us , including EMT , health care workers. Thank you .
