This is worth a visit! If you go, definitely take the tour! Our tour guide sang a Stephen Foster song -- and he sang it well. The story of the home is interesting and well-told.nThere is a nice gift shop attached, too. The grounds are beautiful.
Not much to do or see in all honesty there's better museums around town
Didn't get to do the tour inside of the house, which is a little disappointing, but the grounds were great. I think the tours are different because of coronavirus, but it's definitely worth a trip back. Staff were very friendly and informative. They were also setting up for a reception and/or a wedding. It looks like an idyllic place for any kind of event or photos.
Not much to do other than what you HAVE to pay for. Enjoyed a picnic table.
Wow - beautiful home, very interesting story and great guide to tell the story.
