Avon Avenue Elementary School

The principal as well as the staff here work very closely with student and parents knowing most on a first name basis. They work effortlessly to ensure that the students are getting what they need to succeed. I love that they offer tutoring after school and they also have extra curriculum activities like cheerleading, theater, karate, basketball, etc. My girls 12 & 9 both love it here!

My son is currently a Kindergartner for 16-17 school year. School can be a improved a little better in some areas. Its not the worst school but not the best either. However, my son wont be attending next year.(The BabyLand Services After School Program has been a disappointment & they should at least have someone working in there who knows how to talk to people professionally.

Sucks,more parents who actually care that there r a few teachers,people that actually care about these children.. We need parents to step up and do their ***** jobs and take part in their children's lives ..more funding needed to support the growth of these little people.. Our future isn't looking to good if change doesn't come. My child won't attend next year because I want him to stand a chance in this huge world when he's alone however he won't be able to if he's continuing education here...all the babies here are thrown into the something wrong catacombs when all they need is everybody on the same page!! Working together then they can too take interest in their having knowledge .poor babies ..save them all
