I would like to thank the police driver who kindly stopped his car at Anderson Avenue today.nI stood over five minutes in front of the crosswalk to cross the road to go to church.nToday, the road was full of cars, and the flow of cars never stopped. When it felt hard, a car stopped in front of me. The car was a police car, and I don't know if he's a Fort Lee police or not. I just want to thank the police driver.nnThanks to you, I was not late to church, and today was a happy. Thank you so much!

Some was so impolite.. Can't believe this person was actually yelling at me...I felt beling unprotected... Hope there is none with an anger management..

I admit I was speeding, but under the circumstances, hoped there was compassion. My elderly uncle slipped in the tub and no one could get to him. After explaining the situation, I was told to “hang tight,” and after 10-minutes, the female cop returned with not one but two tickets. In those ten minutes of “hanging tight” my uncle did not make it and was pronounced dead in his home. I can never get over the fact that I was within miles of getting him help, but waiting to be issued two tickets (both applying points to my license) I never got to say goodbye. This situation has really solidified my distrust in police officers because it seems they’ve been trained to be emotionless and as brutal to its citizens as possible.
