Hasbrouck Heights Police Department

As a resident and a parent I want to thank the HHPD for all that they do. I know its not an easy job but each office I have come in contact with has be polite and professional.

Every experience I have ever had with the HHPD has been a very very good one. God Bless them. They are a small dept with BIG responsibilitiy!!!

Just got pulled over in front of the Walmart in Teterboro. I asked the cop why I was being pulled over, and he said because you were coming out of heights and was checking if you were ok? Like why would you pull me over and waste my time for that and what was the point of that? Obviously Heights cops have nothing else to do but pull you over and waste your time

Extremely rude. I called and was hung up on mid sentence. They basically tell me to drive my car drunk just because they don’t want to approve my access to park in front of my friends house. I guess you can’t stay at a friends house for more than one night.

I don't have any experience with policemen but I do have experience with people and it's been enough to deem this department hateful. Probably some of the rudest people I've met in the area. When citizens come or call asking for help, if you're unable to help, the least you can do is be polite about it. Whatever happened to common courtesy? If restaurant servers can be kind to you, then least of all so can your law enforcement officers. Just wait until they need help with something.
