Clare went out of her way help get something done before school starts. It was much appreciated. Before that, recently, Mr. Bentley took time to provide some information even during busy times. It was helpful, reassuring, and much appreciated. These are two of many examples of the dedication and service of the people in this office.
I'm sorry Bear Nelson but we do study the country. I go to Terra Linda Elementary and in 4th grade you learn about the state and in 5th grade you learn about the USA. You even learn songs about those things and sing them in a program the parents can go too. So therefore the district does teach about America. Also, we sing The Pledge of Allegiance every morning and The Star Spangled Banner every Monday.
Jordan School District is a joke. They block every thing, have overpopulated schools, are terrible to the faculty and have an awful circulum. I learned nothing my eighth grade year. They put kids in the wrong classes, use Sage as an "accurate" scoring system (forgetting there's students with test anxiety that are sure to fail or bad grading. I scored a 345 and got a 2 and my friend who scored 326 got a 3). I literally hate this district, they do nothing about the wellbeing of students and teachers.
Jordan District is a very good school district. Great schools, awesome kids and wonderful support staff!
Completely un-American if our kids can't represent the country in your crappy school district!! Trash!!
