This school really needs to work on a lot of things. There are some teachers who are absolutely great, but overall, the experience wasn't great. The principal is none existent. She was supposed to attend meetings for my son, and she didn't go to one of them. Asking for something simple to be done, like faxing a document, is just too hard for them to do. We have moved, so my kids will be attending a different school. We had requested a document to be sent to the new school over a week ago (we requested and the new school did), and as of today, it still hasn't been sent. We called today asking for it to be faxed to us, and they promised it would get done today. Well we didn't receive it, and they are gone for the day. Unbelievable.

My son started Kindergarten at this school. Dropping him off was already stressful and emotional enough but I have had some terrible experiences. The Kindergarten area has absolutely no adult supervision in the mornings. There has been multiple times that there has been ice patches that kids played and fell on. This morning there were actual ice blocks all over the playground. I have called and asked that they have an adult supervising the area as I have had to help with hurt children or children that have peed their pants as they do not know where to go when the doors are locked. I have called the office and voiced my concern multiple times throughout the school year and nothing has been improved.

The principal disciplines the kids unfairly and considers obscene jesters the same as violent physical contact. Does not understand the definition of harrassment and bullying. My daughter was dragged around the playground by her hair for over 2 minutes and could not get away. Her friend got the other girl off of her and they jogged away. When they were far enough to feel safe my daughter turned around and flipped off the violent girl. (This is after she was literally dragged around by her hair.) She didnt ever hit the girl back or make any kind of violent physical contact and walked away as soon as she could, yet she got the same consequence as the girl who was physically violent because she used an obsene jester!!! Well, like i told the principle "Are we not suppose to teach our kids to walk away instead of stay and fight?" Yet my daughter got the same punishment she would have if she was physically violent back. The principle Pretends to listen to parents and Teachers vocal concerns but doesn't seem to care or try to change the problem. Sometimes I think she hates kids. The office staff are nice but will agree with anything the principle says.

I went here until 6th grade it was a great school until Ms. Huff became principal, she is rude and unfair with discipline. My friends fork broke and she made him buy a new on and used plastic forks the rest of the year. Me and my friends have been targeted by teachers and been put in lunch detention numerous times for things we hadn't done. Mrs. Ama a 6th grade teachers is especially targeting towards students and even more so to students in other classes. Used to br great but for about the 5 years Ms. Huff has been there its gotten worse every year. My brotber is now in 6th grade and hates every bit of this school
