So interesting! Artifacts abound in this beautiful mansion. All are from the general area. There sure was a lot of manual labor in the old days.. whew, so glad for modern technology.
My great grandma Julia Burtz worked here as a maid before she got married and homesteaded in South Dakota. Was cool to stop and see it is in such good condition.
Wonderful museum. Could have spent hours longer to see and hear about it's history. Can't wait to go again and learn more about it's display articles and their background.
Loved the history.
