Seriously can not say enough good things about this place! My wife brought me here for a surprise Father's day visit and I was so impressed with their exhibits, staff and overall collection of vehicles, aircraft, arms etc. As a former Marine and enthusiast of history, this place could not have been a better choice to visit. They did a great job with their small arms displays as well as the countless armored vehicles and tanks. We were allowed to sit in the Huey and climb on and around many of the other vehicles as well. My family had a blast and I highly recommend this museum to anyone who like military history. It's the best!
Great history and SO MANY great historical artifacts. You could easily spend a couple of hours going through everything and not see it all. Cost $12 for our family of four, so it was very reasonable. Worth stopping by if you have time.
One of the best military museums I've ever visited. Give yourself at least half a day to see all their collections covering just about every major conflict America has been involved in since its inception.
The first cool thing is that the museum is inside the military base (my son loved it!), but you will need your IDs. The museum is interesting we quite a few tanks and helicopters outside and all kind of weapon and uniform displays inside starting from the Mexican American War (1846-48), to the Gulf War (1990-91). Highly recommended!
Both the outdoor and indoor exhibits are interesting and worth a visit!
