Take this review with a grain of salt for two reasons. 1. I went to Highlands over ten years ago, and 2. I only ever went to one elementary school so I can't compare it all that well to other schools.nWith that being said, the one thing I learned at Highlands that I still use today in college is the simple skill of raising my hand. We were drilled to raise our hands at Highlands if we knew the answer or had a question, if you didn't raise your hand 75% of the time you would get called out. In college the fact that I ask so many questions I feel keeps me more engaged and helps me remember the material better. It also influences the professor to give me a better grade as I'm so engaged.
Was a great school for my 3 children. However, wasn't a big fan of the special education program.
