I’m fortunate enough to work with Beacon Academy through my job. Classy individuals working here - they truly, truly care about their students!! If I had kids, I would definitely look into Beacon!
it Is not as diversed as it should be. The school is ok. I feel sometimes the teachers say things to students they shouldn’t be saying. They don’t know what to do about conflict. Their lunch has gotten better.
This school is honestly a very good school my son goes there and I highly recommend the school nice teachers and my son has never been bullied at the school
I'm a student at beacon even tho I've only been there since 6th grade and I love my teachers and friends. It's always nice when I'm walking to a class and I see a teacher. They are really nice. They deal with situations with students/random ppl outside really well. The online school was a little hard but I still get to see my teachers. When it's nice out during SAS we go outside and play with our friends. The principal's are very tall but it's cool.. I'm that weird girl that loves school but in fine with it. Our bus drivers are ok.. I guess.. but the first bus driver was great. I RECOMMEND this school to you.. of course this is from a student prospective
My student thrives in the middle school. Absolutely loves the teachers, and has made great friends. As a parent, character education is a wonderful part of the curriculum along with small class sizes, block schedules for positive instruction/feedback/question time. Uniforms are a parent bonus. And I appreciate not using tablets for teaching.
