Elementary parents looking for online options- look elsewhere! We're new to CC this year and it has been disappointing. My kids has had three homeroom teachers, the teachers miss meetings, the worksheets are emailed sometimes randomly instead of being online, and the online format is NOT user friendly. The lessons for 3rd grade are just the online disks you get with text books. The math is a bit better and is put together well. My biggest complaint is the assessments are a mess and do not follow current pedagogy. I have a MS and I'm almost done with my PhD- I've seen instructors throw together curriculum in a couple weeks better than this long standing school. Not to mention the user interface is like navigating an early 2000's banking website. I have no idea why there's all these good reviews on google (tricked me)

Lovely school, teachers are more than willing to help you if you contact them. Retakes are almost always an option and your teachers will do whatever it takes for you to succeed. Classes are very easy to understand and you can work on them at your own pace. Teachers are very nice, and live classes are done multiple times a week. Field trips happen very often, so you get to socialize quite a bit. Nothing is spoon fed to you, which is a very good thing. This school teaches kids to manage their time well and allows you to be very independent. I highly recommend this school, as it will help you in the long run by forcing you to develop time management skills. All the reviews from people saying this school ruined their education most likely didn't accept help when it was offered, or didn't reach out. For younger kids, maybe not the best choice, but for 13 and up, I think it's lovely.

I've been a student here for three years now, and I couldn't speak more highly of this school. It's allowed me to complete work at my own pace and to challenge myself. I've learned many useful skills such as time management being the most useful. There are hundreds of field trips every year hosted by amazing teachers (looking at you, Mr. Lahr!) and even with all of this I've still had time to pursue my dream of becoming a private pilot! Thank you very much!

Love this school. I had 3 kids enrolled. All the teachers are so helpful. There are revisions/extra credit for better grades. 2 are still enrolled. If I had this opportunity back in my school age era, id totally graduated on time. Thanks to MN CONNECTIONS ACADEMY and their staffs helping children all around the state.
