Our twin granddaughters are finishing 5th grade at Shannon Park. They have been at the school for 6 years. We have been involved with their education since Kindergarten. Simply put, Shannon Park teachers, staff and leaders are the best! It is a welcoming, safe, warm and nurturing environment with excellent instruction from every teacher we had the pleasure to know. We will miss the friends we have made and our granddaughters will miss the special teachers, staff and leaders that have been a special part of their lives. Janet and Lee Nelson

After my 5 years at this phenomenal school, I was extremely sad to leave it. This school will always be the best school ever, because of the hard work and perseverance of all staff members, students, and also community members.

This is a fun school with a great academic record. I loved all my teachers who were fun and(sometimes) lenient. The food for lunch is pretty mediocre but better than some places. There isn't much too say but I do I know that there is a new principal since I was there in 5th grade. The projects are fun, especially the expert project I did in 4th grade. I did my expert project on LFTR a Liquid Fluorite Thorium Reactor which is on the bleeding edge if nuclear power. I had a fun time doing the project and I learned a lot. The arts at the school like Phy Ed, Art, Band, Choir, and Vocal music are great and semi fun(coming from a kid)band and choir are available to 5th graders only and will continue into middle school. The arts teach you a lot and can be quite fun at times. The school is great and I would recommend to anyone in the school's area!
