Never had a good experience with Eastpointe being on either end of the law. They're like nothing I've ever dealt with and there are so many good if not great departments out there. Unfortunately Eastpointe isn't one of them :(
If you are black I suggest you look for somewhere else to live or not even drive through Eastpointe. I've been here 11 years and I admit the 1st 5 were great but ig the older police officers have quit and now there are nothing but Racist middle aged and younger Boys Employed. I've had some really great Experiences with the police department but not as of lately. Please don't forget if you feel as though you are being mistreated or treated unfairly you can always see someone about putting together and filing a civil/formal Complaint/Police Misconduct Complaint against the Officer or Officer's. Eastpointe police are becoming worse and worse Every year. I hope something Changes soon.
We have a fantastic police & fire Department's who serve us well
Eastpointe police department is one of the best departments out there. Whenever I call for information they are kind and helpful and anytime I've needed help they where there. Recently they put up a speed detector on my street to help stop the crazy drivers which is needed cause of all the children that play everyday.
