A wonderful Christmas experience walking through during the evening through the snow. Carolers sounded beautiful, warming fire pits stationed everywhere, and going though the old reconstructions of history or just seeing some from the outside was magnificent. Riding the carousel for such a nice long ride was worth the wait. Street people in costume were so friendly. It is a beautiful Christmas memory I will never forget. Next time I go to Michigan I want to go again. Went on Dec.26, 2020.
Had always loved this as a child. Was great coming back and experiencing their Holiday event in the evening. Did you know you can get a membership for 2 just over $100? That pays for itself in 2 visits plus you get perks!!!
Their revamped Halloween Nights experience is truly worth the price of going. From the stand point of going by myself for photography, the village part was okay (families and couples would enjoy it better). But their new haunted train ride called Halloween Express? So good that it rivals the best haunted houses in Metro Detroit. 2.5 miles is some of the best haunted-type scenes all along their loop of track. Too cool.nnA Must-do for 2021 for sure.
Liked the new format VERY MUCH! It was so nice to just walk leisurely through the village and enjoy the atmosphere. The train ride was great! I think it was good with no candy being handed out. It was a perfect evening.
Greenfield Village has plenty to offer. The grounds are kept tidy and the various exhibits are well cared for. The children's play area is a little worn, but nothing presents itself as a hazard. Additional activities include: Steam train rides, the hand carved and painted carousel.
