This place is cool in my school. Biggest and best train set up I've ever seen. Lots of tracks, lots of trains. Bridges, tunnels and plenty to look at. Definitely something to see. Kids seem to like it also.
A great little Michigan Gem for kids and Adults!nnFor $5 Adults $3 6+ and Free for 5 and under an hour or more of fun on a Saturday can't go wrong!nnSpent about an hour looking at everything with my son and girlfriend, everyone enjoyed it and the employees were very nice and friendly.nnDefinitely would like to go back another time!
Pretty neat place. Highly automated train layout. This is not a store. It is a work in progress but very neat non the less. Admission is 5 bucks. Staff is friendly and answers questions. If in the area you can walk through the place in 20 to 60 minutes.
Whether you are looking for something to combine with an outdoor event or to spend some time with the family in a quality place then ‘Chi-Town Union Station’ is a great place to go.nnThe cost of admission is reasonable for children and adults. There is plenty of seating inside to view the trains and the wonderful model setup they have along with it. From big city Chicago to what appears to be a row of colorful beach or San Francisco houses to small time life at various points in American history it’s all there.nnAmazingly it is woven together so well that the change from one tableau to another is hardly noticeable.nnOlder attendees can find a convenient seat. The aisles are accessible for wheelchairs and strollers. The entry door takes a little navigation but it large and accessible as is the small reception area and exit.nThe parking lot is spacious.nnKeep in mind that this venue is cash only. There is a bank two doors down as I discovered (haha).nnThe place is clean and neat as are rest rooms. There is memorabilia around the place which could, if one desired, fill an afternoon all by itself.nThere’s no running for kiddies, of course, but as they move around the modelers have made sure there is plenty of easy viewing for them and anyone in a wheelchair. It’s enjoyable family fun and a great place for a date too.
The trains were wonderful. Took me back in time. It was awesome. Recommend to anybody any age any anyting..
