We had amazing service from Monarch. We lived at 4974 Gem Street. A plant was growing out of the wall and the owners came to look at it. The interaction did not go well and the female owner tried to forcibly enter the house after our approved meeting time. She accosted me. Four months later, the male that owns the home emailed us a really weird letter that just let us know we live in his head rent-free for the cost of the deposit we got back. These home owners have serious issues and I hope they get therapy of some kind. Monarch has done everything in their power to help us. We live in a beautiful, bigger new house for the same price we were paying before. Nancy, the receptionist is fantastic. We got our deposit back because the owners entered when we were cleaning it out, when we were still on the lease, without a notice, or anything. My partner and I have felt like Monarch protected us and has been on our side, we just got unlucky with the owners. They do the real job if a real estate rental agency in keeping the renters safe.

I rented from Monarch for 1 year. Adam and Nancy were the people I dealt with. Both very professional and helpful when the owner was causing problems with the house etc. My maintenance requests were dealt with quickly and the problems were fixed. The fridge died, one of the oven burners stopped working and the shower faucet leaked. These were all resolved quickly with very little fuss! I am also a disabled veteran because apparently everyone mentions that, when writing reviews. I would happily rent from them again. Worst Property Management ever! Bad for the tenants, bad for property owners. Very unprofessional, rude, unreliable people. Nancy hung up on my face when we called the office. Adam Marrujo is equally unprofessional, arrogant, and unresponsive. He only called us back two days later after my husband left a message for Chad Sells, owner of company. We wondered if owner got our message or Nancy rattled to Adam Marrujo about our call. Adam was extremely rude on phone to my husband on the phone. Requests for repairs were not honored in a timely manner. Request for estimates were not honored in a time manner, either, not including lying to owners about pets on property. Property owners and tenants beware of this company. They will keep harging for incomplete work, and leave property in filthy condition. Rude people. Of course we had to deal with entitlement attitudes from both sides. When both sides realized we weren't going to settle for less and accept violations of agreement, then we encountered vindictiveness, more disrespect, unwillingness to own up to what was agreed and refusal to pay for yard full if weeds, missing shower head etc. We don't have enough space to detail everything. Anyone can call the police behind your back. It's like a cover up, a sign of intimidating others, pushing one's weight around, especially when dealing with someone of color or different ethnic backgrounds. We hope that Monarch will deal with people professionally and care for people's property as they would wish others to do their own.

Cancelled appointment to view property at last minute via email. No explanation. Very unprofessional. This is after receiving a confirmation. No request for confirmation, just an email noting time, date and location. Cancelled less than an hour before viewing.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!!! Monarch Realty is in business of making it's tenants homeless. During the Pandemic they have evicted all my neighbors, not only for failure of payment but for small things like yard maintenance and having a pet. They have no sympathy for their tenants, they are also terrible people.
