Total rip off, not recommended.n$60 just to provide estimate. Clog clearing option was ruled out.n$379 estimate just to install the garbage disposal I purchased at Home Depot.nDidn't use the service since it was total rip-off.nService technician ask questions such as did you take time off work, so you prefer to complete the repair today, how old is the house?, good house,... These things shouldn't be the factor in repair cost. Total rip-off, very bad attitude.nnCalled another plumber and fixed the garbage disposal for nominal cost $50. Even for installation the alternate plumber quoted just $125.nNow I saved the installation cost $379 and returned the new Garbage disposal $259., total savings of $638.nGood lesson, I'll never call Hoover.nnSave your time and money, don't call Hoover.
