Polish Nail Salon

My first time going to Polish. Yes, I read the negative review but thought I would try anyway... I made an appointment and this was a good thing because they were busy and not able to accommodate walk-ins. The salon was very clean and didn’t have that “nail salon smell”. A TV played videos for the kids who were present. Comfy furniture to sit on while waiting. Yes, the people ahead of me ran late and I had to wait like 20 minutes, but to my surprise and delight they quietly pre-paid for my service because I had to wait! (Thank you, kind folks!) Then it was my turn. Ana wiped down everything and got to work. She listened carefully to what I wanted, we discussed options, she looked at my inspiration photos and then she got to work. I ended up with a beautiful full set, shaped exactly how I wanted. We chatted the whole time and I feel like I made a new friend. I was so happy and impressed with the service I received that I had to come on here and leave a positive review to offset the negative one from earlier. Polish just made me a customer for life!

I have been getting my nails done and pedicures here for a couple years now... I have had the best!!!! Service every time! I love going here, im always happy and satisfied when I am there and when I leave!

(Pictures are added & details about pictures at the bottom!) I went a few days before my birthday to get a full set of acrylics. I showed the nail artist a picture of exactly what I wanted (square with rounded edges). When she initally cut to determine the length that I wanted I told her that length she cut to was perfect and that is the length I wanted when they were finished. By the time my nails were done I realized she filed my nails down way too short. Initally I didnt say anything because I'm not a confrontational person and at first glance (becuase I was in a rush) I thought they would be alright for the time being. When I got home I realized they were so short you could see the pads of my fingers above my nails. I was extremely unhappy and called the salon to leave a voicemail. The next morning they called me back and I made an appointment for that day to get them redone. I ended up changing the shape of the nail that I wanted to almond. She cut me on 6 fingers to the point where I was bleeding. I assumed I would have to pay the difference for the changed nail shape but since it wasnt even a full 24 hours from the day before I was not expecting to pay for a whole new set of acrylics especially with how unhappy I was! They made me pay, I tried to talk with them but they were not even considering giving me a credit or even a discount. Extremely POOR customer service! This second set of nails were better than the previous set, but some were crooked, the acrylic on my nail was uneven, I had multiple cuts and she didnt bring the acrylic all the way down to my nail. its been one week since I got them done and to be blunt they look terrible. I went to a different salon today to get a fill because they looked so bad and looked like I hadent gotten them done in weeks! I do not reccommend Polish AT ALL!! The fact that I had to pay almost $100 for TWO sets of acrylics that weren't even that great was absolutely RIDICULOUS. I will never go there again or recommend this place to anyone I know.*PICTURES* the first picture of the nails with glitter is what I showed the nail tech of what I wanted them to look like. Second and third picture is what I got done the first time and called Polish back to see if I could get them redone. Fourth picture (tan almond shape) was exactly one week after she removed the previous acrylics and redid them. The last picture (pink nails) is from today at Nailed It salon when I went in for a fill and basically asked them if they could fix/salavge my nails. The nail tech at Nailed It salon performed a MIRACLE on my nails and I am very happy with them now. But the amount of money I had to spend just to get them to the point I was happy is ABSURD! In total I spent (not including tip) $119 on my nails in the time span of one week. (Polish first set $42 + second set $42 - even though I shouldn't of had to pay for a full new set - + $35 for a fill at Nailed It Salon!) DO NOT GO TO POLISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
