It was easy to order online & the food was good, but after ordering, I was told that it would be ready by 4:58. I got there to pick it up @ that exact time and ended up having to wait 12 minutes for the order.
My wife and were antiquing in Sterling and stopped here for the first time on 1/9/20. I'm not a chicken strip eater and was looking for fried chicken. I ordered the lunch portion of Chicken George and turned out to be fried chicken strips. It was really great! Next time we go back I would get it again.
The food is always good. If you do an online order make sure they have everything in the bag. Put order in with sauces and it even shows it on the receipt, did I get any...NO. sat at the pickup window knocking on the window for 3 minutes, nobody around had to call them and let them know I was there.
We visited, as a large group, for a post-funeral lunch. Service was extremely attentive and the food was great. Thank you for the positive experience during this time.
I went here everyday while working in town, and I had everything on their menu, and a bunch of the specials. Their chicken George with Jan sauce is their signature dish, and it is particularly good fried chicken. Personally, I was more impressed by their steak. It was always flavorful and moist, easily better quality than higher priced steakhouses. I also had their salad entrees, I was surprised they could be so great. The service was also excellent like everyday except once, I think there was a new waitress or something and they forgot about me, but the guy in charge realized the situation, even that one time I didn't have to wait all that long, and they 'comped my meal, which was really very nice of them.
