vending machine broke there after 8 years. it just doesn't make any cents

Great place to railfan and slot of trains and horns at this station!

It's a train station, what more can you say? However the little coffee shop is pretty good. Donuts, coffee, soda, etc... The staff that work there are super nice especially the woman who runs it! People have a tendency to run around the gate (against the law people) but I guess since they are mostly lawyers they can get away with it!

Try this train to get to the city vs the el. Nice places to grab some food or coffee too. The station is locked on weekends but of course the train still runs just there is no shelter when waiting so plan accordingly. Free parking on weekends.

The coffee shop people are wonderful and the lady who works at the ticketing office is very kind and helpful.
