Cosley Zoo

This is a fun place to go with kids for a quick outing. It takes about 30 minutes to an hour to see everything (at a leisurely pace). And it's very affordable!

It was a bit cold and some things were not accessible. But a nice place to get outdoors. Its a wonderful thing they are doing to help rehab injured animals. One deer's poor nose looked so bad, but they said she was doing fine and not in pain.

Super cute, smaller zoo with enough animals to keep kids entertained. Think various birds and barnyard animals with deer, coyotes, rabbits, and a bobcat for good measure. Some racoons in a fun habitat was a particular highlight. Everything was clean and well organized, and the staff were very friendly. Only drawback (Covid specific) is that without a mask mandate, very few guests were wearing one. There's enough room to keep distance, but if that's a deal breaker for your family, now you know in advance. Would still recommend if you have young kids and are in the area!

Keep expectations realistic...Took our kids aged 4.5, 3 and 1. It is great in the sense that it is a quick trip and manageable walking with toddlers. You can walk the entire zoo in 45 mins. It was our 2nd visit but this time it felt underwhelming...not enough variety of animals. My kids kept asking to see larger animals like lions and monkeys ud83dude36 We also went on a Sunday so there was no employee facilitating feeding the animals like we did the 1st time. I think we'll check out a larger zoo next time.

Pricing was great, and the enclosures for the animals were clean and full of enrichment toys and decor. Animals appeared healthy and content. Staff were pleasant.
