All the animals looked malnourished.. The enclosures are so small and dirty. The poor tiger kept roaring it sounded so sad.. There are lots of birds with open enclosures.. Do they clip their wings to keep them in? There was another animal laying in a laundry basket. Even my children were sad for them. These animals belong in a bigger and better place.

We drove an hour and a half and were a bit disappointed at the state of the zoo. Many enclosures were small and unkept. The animals seemed sad and lethargic. I understand that the pandemic has had a great effect on the economy but it was disheartening. We were also very upset that the mask requirement was not enforced. There were at least 10 visitors who were not wearing masks. I brought it up to several employees but not one made an effort to ask those visitors to comply. There were signs everywhere about wearing masks for the safety of the animals. I really hope this zoo improves.

You only need about an hour to go through the zoo, so it’s perfect for a morning visit. The animals are stunning, and the Australian walk through is very fun. Had a good time coming here.

This is a neat place they have all sorts of activities. It's not just a zoo there's also a water park and a mini golf area there as well. They have a lake where you can rent canoes and paddle boats and fish. Also they have trails to walk in a few different pavilions with picnic tables. just to enjoy the outdoors.
