I've never stopped and explored Fairhooe as I did yesterday. I have always wanted to stop & explore the beautiful little historic town that my grandmother was from, but when I came upon the adorable (FREE) museum I had to stop. It featured the first firetruck, jail, and many other wonderful things including the notable people of Fairhope. If you love history & historic this, this is definitely one to stop & admire.

Lovely museum. Friendly and knowledgeable docent. Would recommend to anyone visiting Fairhope. Also -- a big plus - no charge to visit!
