I'm a grandmother of an inmate that is presently in Atmore, Prison, when he should have been assigned to Fair Hope or Baldwin County Jail. Probation Office Jody Jaye has been my grandson's probation officer for many years due to a sex charge that was consensual sex. However the girl was just under 16 and my grandson was 16, a juvenile. This state has done everything they seem to find to crucify this young man who has done more time than murderers in Calif.nI've spoken to Mr. Jaye several times since 2012 when my grandson was severely injured in an outnumbered fight and yet tossed in jail with these injuries. Mr. Jaye has been of kindly assistance in trying to help my grandson and I truly appreciate his responsible caring. My grandson asked me to contact Mr Jaye, as he is unable and let him know the state computer errors of his charges that he might be released.All in all, with this probation officer I have to say I've had a kindly experience.
