Best Hotel in Birmingham! The place looked amazing, you can tell they care about the way the property looks.....and the Manager on duty Tonya was incredibly accommodating, professional and friendly (a rockstar!!) Next time I am in Birmingham I will make a point to stay at this property.

Very disappointing. I tried to resolve this directly with Marriott Birmingham but they never returned my call.nnFirst - my key will not work once I have hauled all my luggage and family to the room. I go back down to get a new key. They said they need to assign me a new room because the door lock battery must need changing. Wrong! When I get back to my family, they are talking to the people in the room. They assigned us to a room that was already occupied.nnSecond - haul my stuff and family to the elevator to get on a different floor and room. We open the hide a way bed and the sheets and bedding clearly were used. Bed was not made. We had to call and ask for new bedding...they only brought sheets...no blankets.nnThird - I called the manager and was sent to voicemail. I left a message. I wasn't planning to be mean but just voice my concern over the quality of service at a Marriott. Since I never received a call. I decided to leave my true feelings on Google.nnI won't stay at this hotel again.

Nice refresh on this property a couple years back. Very comfortable rooms and customer service was top notch. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

I was very pleased with my stay here. I was checked-in by Tonya and she went above and beyond to meet all of my needs. She had amazing customer service and was very personable. I definitely felt welcomed and with the decline of great customer service I am happy that Tonya exceeded my expectations!
