The First United Methodist Church here in Arab, is a very caring, loving place. Have always felt at home from the first time I walked in the doors. The services are God sent, and very personal to me in my walk with Christ. My whole family are members and love the outreach programs that the church provides. This loving church is a true reflection of Open Hearts, Open Minds, and Open Doors! The strength of this church is the wonderful congregation who faithfully serve Christ and our community. This church's beautiful campus is the perfect place to find the worship service and Sunday School class you've been looking for!
This church is filled with ministries and programs to meet the needs of all individuals, couples, and families. The love of God is evident, scripture is the basis of all ministries, and everyone is invited. My family and I have called AFUMC home for many years and truly love this place!
My family and I simply love this place. Warm people who love the Lord, love music and arts, love to worship (in two distinct styles of services), and very involved in missions (including locally) with Christmas and Beyond, Backpack Blessings, overseas Ghana trip, supporting a missionary, Room in the Inn housing the homeless on site, etc.
I was there to pick up my grandson from their daycare where he is well taken care of.
