This Pizza Hut is a solid 3 stars. The staff is generally friendly and the food is usually good. However, the places needs a total remodeling. Most of the mainstream fast food restaurants in Guntersville have been remodeled or upgraded in some fashion over the past 5 or 10 years. This Pizza Hut remains old and unchanged. This is evident by the tables, chairs, carpet, bathrooms, etc. An upgrade would go a long way. Also, the food is not as consistent as one would expect. Sometimes it is great, and other times it leaves you wanting something better. Overall, a decent place for some pizza.
I called this pizza hut to have a pizza delivered to me but since I am not in a business or a home they would not believe to me even though I drive a truck and can give a good address. The girl on the phone accused me of yelling at her and in no way did I yell at her. Her boss or manager picked up and told me not yell at his employee. I told him at no time did yell or raise my voice to her. I told him it was fine since they will not deliver to me since they did not want my business. So I called domino's and they will definitely deliver to me. I live in this area and I will never use this pizza hut.
Pizza was good, service was not. The waitress was also the delivery driver and we had to wait for her to make a delivery. She never came back and a man started helping us. We had to ask twice for a to go box and then had to walk up to get it. There was a lot of yelling going on in the cook area. Was disappointed in the lack of professionalism.
The delivery wait time is RIDICULOUS & they could care less about how much of an inconvenience it is to get quoted a certain time but having to wait an ENTIRE HOUR after the estimated time that you’re given. And they don’t compensate at all for the inconvenience! Very unprofessional!!
I always stop in for the salad bar.
