I’m only giving 2 stars bc it didn’t stink and I didn’t see bugs. The worst part was having to remake the beds bc the sheets were dirty and obviously not changed. I politely asked for new sheets and the desk attendant tried to assure me they were clean... they were not. Otherwise the walls were filthy. The bathroom area looked clean. The TV did not work, possibly just needed batteries in the remote). To get to the motel, you have to drive through the parking lot of an even sketchier motel 6 and an abandoned Ryan’s. It didn’t stink(except for the guests smoking marijuana outside my door on the balcony) but I would not recommend staying in this motel. . Also no pool and no breakfast as advertised.
Checked in after midnight. Parking is difficult with a trailer. Front desk was rude. Lobby is locked due to COVID. Security latch on the door is broken in half. Neighborhood seems a little bit sketchy, but we had no problems. Motel is secluded behind Waffle House and another motel. Room is a bit run down, but clean. No bugs. Bed was very comfortable - not hard. Pillows are small european style. Water is hot and pressure is excellent. King room has a pull out couch, but there were no blankets or sheets for it. Gideon has been here.
It was an acceptable place to stay the night. Not filthy, but not super clean.
