The location is fantastic in downtown Montgomery and there is free parking available. The hotel was nice and clean. I gave it 3 stars because it’s outdated and the walls were very thin, in fact there was a door in our room that was locked but could lead into the room next door. We could hear the people next door talking so there wasn’t much privacy. We had breakfast at the restaurant and it was nice, the food was good.

Room did not have hot water. My husband and I had to shower in cold water. When we called the front office, we were informed that they'd send someone in the morning instead of changing out our room. When checking out, we asked to speak to a manager. It's now 3 days later and we still have not heard from anyone.

Horrible service. Short on washcloths, lack of management and staff. Couldn't get ANY sleep. Loud noise in the lobby and noone at the front desk to control the noise. People out of control inside and outside. Drawers don't properly close. Called front desk and still no resolution. So much for trying to get a good night's rest!!!

Even though the limited staff was very courteous. The experience was not good. The elevators was not clean, there were glasses from guests staged in the hallways, my room didn't have towels in it, there wasn't any soap to wash my hands and there was a shot out outside my window. By the way I also got charged twice for on my credit card for the stay.

Breakfast was very good for a hotel. The menu was short but the food was freshly made. On the other hand the room had a very strong smell of ammonia and the carpet in our room was wet. We got in late and were too tired to complain.
