New River Gorge Visitor Center

Beautiful scenery, great trails that give awesome views. You can drive a car all the way down to the river and stop asking the way. There is a cat walk underneath the bridge that you can walk on(it was closed on the day I was thereud83dude25). The visitor center was very nice too and had park rangers to give you the history. Well with the trip.

I stopped here to stretch my legs in the middle of an eleven hour drive; I didn't have time for a comprehensive examination of the place and spent approximately half an hour at the location. What I saw was fairly impressive, especially considering that half-hour. This is definitely on my list for a return visit with the kids under more leisurely circumstances.

We stopped for information regarding hiking in the area. We were delighted to meet Dave B. With wonderful information and an insightful resource. He is definitely on his game and loves his profession. With distancing and outdoor conditions he had charts large enough we could clearly see them. We received the information we needed and more regarding geography of the area. The pollinator garden in front of the center are wonderful. Great photo opportunities with butterflies and other pollinators. Great stop!
