They gave me donuts when they arrested me, and put in a cell with 3 hunks! I’m going to come back next weekend!
Thay handcuffed me very gently and the police cars where very roomy and clean very professional and respectful overall very nice experience week up the good work
You guys did nothing to secure the Dairy Mart where I was jumped and 2 years later Ryan Diviney was jumped in that exact same spot and would die from his injuries.nnAnd now refusing to investigate Rock Mays’s story? You guys think it’s all “kids being kids” but MPD is beyond inept. Get your act together.
This is a top notch , professional, police department in a very nice town.
one star of the lack of effort of this department for not caring much about helping clean up the streets or taking it serious or even sometimes complicating a situation when they are called for help dealing with hardcore drug addicts and suboxone addicts, I have seen it personally certain police officers who is called to come help a situation only to help sometimes complicate a situation not helping really at all or making no arrest in fact joking around with the addicts acting like they know the addicts well and they are friendly while even sometimes questioning you when your the one who called them to help you while in the mean while its clear as ever the addict is strung out of their minds but its overlooked when that happens its getting even harder to trust or believe in this department, mind you when I was 19 I went down for a crime I did not commit I was at the wrong place at the wrong time and dating the wrong person Yet I still went to jail and was fined a lot of money because I didn't know my rights and my lawyer did not step up like I thought she should have done a little more, I was young and dumb I was guilty of that I will admit yet I was still honest about what had happen and what I knew I still got in trouble while the real criminal who did the crime was free of all charges I believe now it had a lot to do with hate with the officer and the court and of course greed so ever since then its hard for me to trust the morgantown police department even though I try, its hard to forget how my life was effected and how I was wrongfully accused and arrested so when I see this department letting these addicts off the hook with a slap on the wrist it makes it hard to trust this system even more while I still see addicts are destroying this town slowly they steal peoples property inside and outside of their homes also breaking in homes just to steal money or something that is worth selling on the streets so they can continue to afford their habits, this department can catch them red handed in the act only to be known to mark it off as not a big deal slapping them on the wrist with a warning my opinion is you can only warn someone so many times after awhile something needs to be done jobs need to be done when you go through training you take a oath to serve and protect all who is in need of help other wise if your not cut out for it then your not worthy to wear a badge, its not fair to the citizens of Morgantown who is being caused pain and suffering or put in situations they don't want to be in from these addicts ignorant addictions, also not to mention how now these addicts are now Targeting older folks who is going through dementia or lonely there are addicts taking advantage of these people its a shame it should be taken more seriously than it is, now a days if you threat to call the police certain addicts will laugh right in your face and continue harassing or stealing doing what they do best because they know this department wont do nothing when they arrive, these addicts need to start being put in jail with no bond other wise its doing no good because most of these addicts has lovers or friends /family and even sugar daddies & momma's who bond them out so they just get out and repeat their crimes its ridiculous, its shouldn't be about this state making money filled with greed with getting bond money it should be about a safe environment for all, p.s not to mention certain individuals are abusing their suboxones selling them on the streets the police is well aware of it because I've personally told a few police men and of course I didn't feel they took it serious, I hope this review will start to make more positive improvements in this department
