Beckley Exhibition Coal Mine

My family from New Jersey came to visit us, we took them Beckley coal minenThe 6 grandchildren and there parents all had a wonderful time. Everyone was greatnCan wait to come back. Thanks again

The mine is closed.

We would have liked to visit and shop in the gift shop, but despite what it said online,the place is closed until next week. Lights were on, but no sign on the door or information other than a disgruntled gentleman mumbling something at us. Loss of revenue for them as not only were we turned away, but we saw at least a dozen other people who were equally disappointed. Poor business practices not to advertise being closed.

Awesome tour, if you think your jobs hard take the tour and get a new appreciation for how good we have it now.

My little girl n i love it here! Both museums are so much fun and walking the trail looking at the coal town n log cabins is a good way to get the kids active . The park is very clean n they always have something going on
