Great little place to stop and buy a drink or snack. John has a microwave to heat the packaged hot soups or stews he sells. Diverse library as well. Good fun to speak with him on the picnic table overlooking the trail and river.

Great small shop to pick up ice cream while on the trail. Can't go biking w/o ice cream.

Great little place to visit is not what's in the description.New owner bought it from barrons and most of the museum pieces were given to cushwa basin now its just got a couple of artifactual pieces .Its more a hiker bikers store for when you are tired and hungry but the owner is very informative and friendly we spent quite a bit if time talking to him about the C&O .
