Always love historic stuff and it's quiet love it

Liked it, but there needs to be some safety measures taken by the well.

Had a Great Day there learning about history

Over all a disappointing experience. The house is hard to find and it is surrounded by a chainlink fence that is at least eight feet high and padlocked closed. The plaque explaining the history of the house was falling apart and lying on the ground in front of the fence. There is a building with bathrooms nearby. I did not check to see if it was locked. Although it says that you can rent the house out for special occasions, I could not find any information on when historic interpretors would be at the house.nnPeter Burr is the uncle of Aaron Burr, the third vice president of the United States and thhe man who shot Alexander Hamilton. It is located inside a Hamiliton Park Telecommunications Complex. One interesting piece of information offered by a pamphlet at the site said that Peter Burr tried to get George Washington removed as the head of the Continental Army. The house is on the National Register of Historic Places because of its age. The style of architecture shows Peter Burr's New England roots and is not like other local structures. The parking was free. Access was free, but given the height of the grass, etc it's accessiblity to handicap people is dubious.
