Our stay at the Hillbrook was excellent. The Spring Cottage is spacious and nicely finished. The fireplace, kingside bed, and soaking tub helped us to have a relaxing weekend. We were especially impressed by the food. Dinner from the restaurant was delicious, and we appreciated having the option of having it delivered to our room. We also really enjoyed the breakfast in the restaurant. Thank you for helping us have a mini-vacation away from home!

Great B&B south of Charles Town! We stayed at their off-site location, about 2 miles down the road, the Farmhouse. It was such a nice room and great house, and we were lucky enough to have it to ourselves! We were also lucky to have it snow great big flakes during breakfast at the inn; such a storybook moment! Will definitely be planning on making this getaway a staple for us!

I came here for my honeymoon and we had such a lovely time! It’s a beautiful inn and everyone was so nice. The room looked just like the pictures, and it was so nice to have an in-room sauna and a soaking tub! Our massages at the spa were so relaxing and overall we had a great stay. Also, it snowed twice while we were here, and they were so fast to shovel outside our room. I’d recommend coming here for a relaxing stay!

Beautiful and peaceful setting and grounds, nicely appointed and clean rooms and facilities. We were at Hawthorne house and loved that particular facility. We dined at restaurant for dinner and breakfast - the food was excellent. We enjoyed the spa as well, which was also wonderful. It was close to wine country and various vineyards. We also had a great hike at Harper's Ferry. So well located to enjoy many activities.

A lovely getaway from DC! We only had to drive an hour and a half to get into what felt like true oasis outside the city. The rooms were beautiful, authentic, clean and luxurious. I also went to the spa in the old gatehouse which was also wonderful! I would recommend getting a treatment if you can. Last but not least, the FOOD...AMAZING. A two course breakfast and a four course dinner will not leave you hungry!
